This detached holiday home on 600 m2 of private land is located on a dead-end road on bungalow park 'Hoogelandt. It borders directly on the forest at the back. In 20 minutes you can walk through the dunes to the beach at Paal 17. Living room annex dining room with a wood stove, flat screen TV, CD player and MP3 stereo. The semi-open kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, combi-oven, large refrigerator, induction hob and, among other things, a kettle, filter coffee machine and Nespresso. There are three bedrooms, one of which has 1 double box spring (2 separate mattresses 80x200) and washbasin. The other two bedrooms each have a single bed and a medium-high corner bunk bed (80 x 200 cm) and washbasin. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. The bungalow has underfloor heating. This holiday home has a large garden with terrace. Garden furniture (with parasol) is available. Lovely family home, especially suitable for families with children.

Bungalow park 't Hoogelandt is quietly located on the edge of the Duinen van Texel National Park, on the west side. This nature reserve covers the entire dune area of Texel, including the forest. The bungalow park borders the forest area. Beautiful cycling and hiking trails run through the National Park. Within 5 minutes you are on the bike at the extensive North Sea beach. Walking through the dunes takes 20 minutes. The seaside resort of De Koog is 3 kilometers away and the largest village of Texel, Den Burg, is about 4.5 kilometers away. Both have a pleasant center with shops, restaurants and terraces. In the immediate vicinity are several attractions, such as the museums Ecomare and Flora.

Our holiday home is located in the quiet bungalow park 't Hoogelandt. At the reception of Résidence Californie you can use the launderette (with euros, washing powder included) and the bicycle and handcart rental. This is a ‘ZoTexels’ accommodation. Important to know
This bungalow is not suitable for 6 adults. Wood for the wood stove is not included in the rental price. In the period from September 15 to May 15, you pay for gas and electricity according to consumption. The main tenant must be at least 25 years old and must be present for the entire rental period.

Introduce
You will quickly feel at home in our bungalow. We are happy to help you have a nice holiday with our tips. We know all the nice places and outings that we would like to share with our guests. Hendrien works (as a summer job) on Waddenveer De Vriendschap as a sailor and Wadden guide. She can tell you a lot about the mudflats on board. Hendrien works on Texel as a sculptor in wood and stone. Feel free to make an appointment to view the work in the studio. The studio is on the Schilderweg.
Tips from the host
At the reception you can rent bicycles and there is a launderette (with euro coins). The Sommeltjesbos is located in the forest directly behind our house. A very nice, short walk for the children leads you through this forest.
