Detached chalet on family campsite near the woods and Den Burg
The living room has a sitting area with smart TV. There is also a dining area. The open kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner stove, kettle and refrigerator. In addition to an ordinary coffee filter machine, there is also a coffee Nespresso Magimix machine. The bathroom has a shower, sink and design towel radiator. There is a separate toilet. There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed (140x200). Duvets available (1x 2 persons and 2x 1 person). The chalet has central heating and a combi hot water boiler. There is a large garden with a terrace. Garden furniture is available. There is a second terrace (southwest location), on which there is a wooden (open) roof shed with a comfortable lounge area and hammock, expanded with additional facilities for an optimal stay, even on less sunny days.

Location
Holiday park De Koorn-aar is located on the edge of the Texel forest, on the west side of Texel. From the park you can walk straight into the forest, where dozens of cycling, riding and hiking trails run. The forest is part of the Duinen van Texel National Park, which runs from the southern tip to the lighthouse. You can cycle to the North Sea beach within 10 minutes. The largest village of Texel, Den Burg, is about 4 kilometers away and within 5 kilometers you are in the seaside resort of De Koog. In the vicinity are various attractions, such as museums, viewpoints and riding stables and an indoor swimming paradise. Due to its favorable location, the Koorn-aar is an excellent starting point for cycling and discovery trips on Texel.

There is a lockable bicycle shed. The holiday park has many facilities: launderette, playground and sports field, bicycle rental, restaurant and supermarket. This is a ‘ZoTexels’ accommodation. Bring your own: bed linen for double beds (2x 140x200) Duvets provided. Bring your own duvet covers 1x double and 2x single, hand and tea towels. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in the public areas of the campsite. You can use the internet from the chalet (fibre optic cable). This costs € 15 per week. This contribution will be deducted from the deposit. You can indicate this to the owner during your stay, after which you will receive the code. In the months of December, January and February, an energy surcharge of € 25 per week will be charged. This amount will also be deducted from the deposit.

Leuk chalet, fijn rustig vakantiepark. Mooie locatie
Tja...schrijf zelden een reactie echter maak een uitzondering. Indien de locatie op dag van aankomst niet "schoon" bevonden wordt dient eigenaar onmiddellijk geïnformeerd te worden zodat dezelfde dag alsnog actie ondernomen kan worden. Chalet heeft twee slaapkamers met zachte en wat hardere matrassen ( deze laatste zijn recent vervangen ) Dus keuze...afmetingen bedden hetzelfde. Opstapje entree....geen idee. Helaas zat het weer ook niet mee, hiervoor mijn excuses. ....

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
