De Ark farm originally dates from 1700 and is located on the edge of picturesque Den Hoorn in the south of Texel. The cozy streets and the reformed church with white tower are typical of the village. From your apartment you can walk into the pleasant village center. Here you will find a supermarket, various restaurants, terraces and a bicycle rental. Den Hoorn is quietly located and surrounded by nature. The wide North Sea beach is a 10-minute bike ride away. The farm has been converted into a unique holiday residence with a total of 10 different apartments. From the site of De Ark you have a wonderful view of Texel meadows.

deDe locatie was prachtig. Alleen de douche was erg klein en boven slapen was een beetje probleem maar dat is goed gegaan. Omdat mijn partner slecht kan lopen. Verder prima en goed ingericht en schoon. We hebben genoten!

Fewo Duiventil ist eine von zehn Ferienwohnungen unterschiedlicher Größe. Sie bietet alles was man braucht...uns hat allerdings ein richtiger Backofen gefehlt, es ist nur ein Kombigerät Mikrowelle/Grill vorhanden. Im Wohnbereich ein bequemes Sofa, die zwei Schlafzimmer haben sehr gute Betten, für uns die besten die wir in unseren zahlreichen Texelunterkünften bisher hatten. Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer, dieses leider ohne WC, über eine sehr steile Wendeltreppe erreichbar. WC ist unten. Nachts muss man also runter... Schöner Außenbereich.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
