Location

De Ark farm originally dates from 1700 and is located on the edge of picturesque Den Hoorn in the south of Texel. The cozy streets and the reformed church with white tower are typical of the village. From your apartment you can walk into the pleasant village center. Here you will find a supermarket, various restaurants, terraces and a bicycle rental. Den Hoorn is quietly located and surrounded by nature. The wide North Sea beach is a 10-minute bike ride away. The farm has been converted into a unique holiday residence with a total of 10 different apartments. From the site of De Ark you have a wonderful view of Texel meadows.

- gut gelegen, sehr ruhig, der Garten ist sehr schön - Küchenausstattung gut - die Schlafzimmer sind alle sehr sehr einfach gehalten, keine Deko usw. - das Doppelbett war unbequem, das Stockbett OK - das Bad war unterirdisch, kaputte Spülung, Schimmel in der Dusche, verrostete Heizkörper usw. - die Wohnung war dreckig als wir kamen - das Wlan hat leider oft nicht funktioniert, es gab nur 4 Deutsche TV Sender

De ligging van de accommodatie was prachtig. De gastheer was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het huisje zelf had een typische Texelse stijl, was wel wat verouderd en niet zo heel schoon. De badkamer kan echt een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Minpunt voor ons. Prachtige tuin, maar door een lastige en klagende buurvrouw kon hier niet in worden gespeeld. Van de eigenaar mochten we van zijn tuin gebruik maken maar dat voelt toch anders. Dit dient dan ook te worden aangepast in de omschrijving.

Prima genoten. We hadden het Ooievaarsnest geboekt met 6 personen. Alle benodigdheden waren aanwezig. Eigenaar is behulpzaam en klantvriendelijk. Ik kan deze accommodatie zeker aanbevelen!

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
