De Slufter is the most famous nature reserve on Texel. It is a large salt marsh plain that borders directly on the North Sea. This causes creeks with salt water to flow right through the area. Only plants that can tolerate salt water grow there. In summer, the Slufter is colored purple by the blooming sea lavender. This detached bungalow is quietly located on the edge of bungalow park Slufterduin, close to De Slufter. It is a playfully designed park with different housing types and small winding paths. You have a view of the Dunes from your bungalow. You can walk to the beach in 20 minutes through the Slufter valley. From the park you can cycle within 15 minutes to the seaside resort of De Koog with shops, restaurants and wide sandy beaches.
