Semi-detached group accommodation De Oorsprong is situated in the countryside on the yard of a cattle farm, in the middle of Polder Eierland. A holiday on this part of Texel means getting some fresh air and spotting birds. The Waddendijk (wadden dike) is 2 kilometers from De Oorsprong. Along the dike there are various special nature reserves that form an important breeding and foraging place for countless birds. De Cocksdorp is 5 kilometers away. In the cozy village center you will find the Vogelinformatiecentrum (Bird Information Center), several shops, a supermarket, bicycle rental and various restaurants. Ruime accomodatie, heerlijke bedjes, van alle gemakken voorzien.

We waren met 11 personen en hebben erg genoten van het leven op en om de boerderij. De Meierblis was voor ons een unieke ervaring! Het huis was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien.

Vanaf het begin hebben we ons van harte welkom gevoeld op de boerderij waar we zoveel we wilden mee konden genieten van het jonge lente leven, lammeren, kalfjes. En dat in een ruime en goed voorziene accommodatie. Het was genieten.

Gezellige boerderij

We hebben het heel fijn gehad bij de Oorsprong. Het is een boerderij met veel dieren en we mochten overal kijken. We waren in de lammetjestijd, we konden ze geboren zien worden. Een van de slaapkamers heeft zelfs een raam met uitzicht op de stal. Verder was alles heel ruim, schoon en netjes. Het is in the middle of nowhere, dat wel ;-)

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
