De Toes is a small-scale holiday park, just outside the picturesque Oosterend on the east side of Texel. From the park you can walk through the picturesque streets with beautiful facades to the center. There are some shops and restaurants around the church. Various walking routes have been set out in and around Oosterend. Behind the dike you will find a small beach and the Wadden Sea. Within the dikes lies the Vogelboulevard, a succession of small nature reserves and a popular resting place for birds. The photogenic polder mill Het Noorden is located nearby.
