Hotel de Waal is located in the characteristic small village of De Waal, in the middle of the island. The tranquility, old houses and farms are typical of the smallest village of Texel. Its central location makes this hotel a great base for exploring Texel. The villages of Den Burg, Oosterend and Oudeschild are only 3 to 4 kilometers away and are easily accessible by bicycle. The Waalenburg nature reserve starts near the hotel.

There is ample parking space in front of the door. The family hotel has a lounge with sitting area and fireplace. There are books and games available. There is regular live music. Introduce
Dear Guest, I was Maarten Brugge born and raised on Texel, together with my wife Belinda Laan we took over the hotel a few years ago. We try to give our guests a pleasant stay but also to ensure a unique one. island experience. I make most of the furniture myself with wood that has washed up on the beach. Beachcombing is in my blood and I am happy to take you to the beach for a nice walk. See you in De Waal Maarten and Belinda
