The holiday home is located in De Waal, centrally on the island. This smallest village on Texel has beautiful farms and historic buildings. Within walking distance you will find a delicious restaurant, cozy terraces and Museum Waelstee. The village borders the Waalenburg nature reserve, with rare plant species and meadow birds. You can enjoy cycling and walking there. The North Sea beach is 8 kilometers away. It is 3.5 kilometers by bike to Den Burg. You will find plenty of shops and restaurants there.

Traumhafte Unterkunft auf Texel

Vörstetten, September 2025

Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön gelegen, super ruhig, abseits von den „Touriorten“. Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Haus ist neu renoviert und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Der Kamin im Wohnzimmer hat uns viele gemütliche Stunden beschert. Ein riesiger Garten mit Tieren und vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten und viel Platz zum Spielen runden das ganze ab. Top Unterkunft - was auf den Bildern nicht annähernd rauskommt und unglaublich freundliche Gastgeber!

Heerlijk vakantiehuis, met prachtige tuin!

Een heerlijk vakantiehuis met een fantastische tuin. Voor twee jonge kindjes heerlijk om veilig in te spelen. Het huisje ligt centraal op texel. De eigenaren van het huisje zijn zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Born and raised on Texel. The 7th generation of the Porto. The first Porto came from Portugal and was embarked on a merchant ship, which then arrived in the Port of den Hoorn.

Tips from the host

Our holiday home is located next to the Waalenburgh nature reserve, in the middle of our island. There are several beautiful cycling and walking paths from our house. The beach is also close by.
