Location
The small-scale holiday park Het Eibernest is located on the edge of De Cocksdorp, in the northern part of Texel. You walk straight into the village, with a few shops, terraces and restaurants. The Texel lighthouse is 4 kilometers away. Behind it is an extensive beach. The Wadden Sea and North Sea meet at that northern point. The dune area is part of the Dunes of Texel National Park, which extends to the southern tip. You can enjoy cycling and walking. The well-known nature reserve De Slufter is 5 kilometers away. In the vicinity are several attractions, such as the airport, paracenter, Ice cream farm Labora, golf course De Texelse and the canal cruise / ferry De Vriendschap.

Zweckmäßige Einrichtung, leider sehr steile Treppe.
Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung. Unser Ferienhaus ist nicht für einen Hund oben im Schlafzimmer auf einem Bett zu schlafen, dass ein anderer Gast beim nächsten Mal schlafen wird eingerichtet. Ihr Hund ist in seinem Körbchen im Erdgeschoss gut aufgehoben, damit das Haus für alle frisch bleibt. Wir sind froh, dass Häuser gebaut werden, damit junge Leute auf Texel bleiben können.

Ausser, dass es nicht ganz sauber war, war die Unterkunft sehr schön
Van ons krijgt u een 8.5! U bent 9 dagen onze gast geweest mevrouw Wergner, en we hebben geen klacht van u ontvangen. Het beste is dan om achteraf zo een beoordeling te schrijven, daar is iedereen mee geholpen. Bedankt!

Tips from the host
From early spring to summer you can watch the largest spoonbill colony in the Netherlands in the De Geul nature reserve (near the ferry). The spoonbills feel particularly at home on Texel because their biggest enemy, the fox, does not occur here. Highly recommended in the spring is a bike ride along the Texel flower bulb fields. In the months of April and May you can take a tour along the most beautiful fields of Texel flower bulb growers. There are the best cultural, musical, sporting and culinary events on Texel all year round. The Beach Food Festival in Oudeschild is highly recommended.
