You can walk into the forest, which is part of the Duinen van Texel National Park, on the west coast. Dozens of beautiful cycling routes and hiking trails run here. Das Haus ist klasse und es war sehr sauber, einen Aufenthalt dort können wir nur empfehlen.

Aangenaam verblijf

We waren aangenaam verrast door wat er allemaal aanwezig was in het huis. Uitgebreide keuken, een grote badkamer met een bubbelbad en een fijne sauna en ook nog een zonnebank. Alles werkte prima. Het is alleen jammer dat het linnengoed en handdoeken niet bij de -naar mijn mening- hoge prijs zijn inbegrepen. De ligging is vlak bij het bos en duingebied en je wandelt zo naar de zee. Ook het dorpje De Koog ligt op korte afstand van het huis. We waren een bal vergeten in te pakken en was in het huis achtergebleven, met een telefoontje werd de bal opgespoord en zou gratis naar ons opgestuurd worden. Een hele fijne service dus. We hebben kortom een fijne wintervakantie gehad.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
