The thatched farmhouse De Florijn is quietly located in the former fishing village East on the Wadden side of Texel. De Florijn has 4 lodges. This quiet side of the island offers many opportunities for cyclists and walkers. Bird watchers also like to be in this area. The dike is about 500 meters away, with the Wadden Sea behind it, where countless birds nest and forage. The Vogelboulevard, with special bird reserves, is located within the dikes. The picturesque village of Oosterend is 2 kilometers away. In the beautiful streets there are various monumental buildings with beautiful facades. You will also find some restaurants and a supermarket.

Alles war gut mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. 7km nach Den Burg, etwa 7km zum Strand, toller Standort und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Wir haben uns gut erholt.

Ich möchte dort nicht wieder hin.

Reinigung gut, die Verwaltung auch ok. Modernes Bad. Aber man merkt der Wohnung an, dass hier noch nie jemand gelebt hat. Die Küchenausstattung reicht nicht für 4 Leute, bzw läuft die große Spülmaschine immer wieder halb leer, wenn Teller für alle da sein sollen. Viel zu wenig Steckdosen, viele Lampen, die kaum Licht bringen, vor allem fehlt eine Lampe über dem Esstisch. Zimmerausstattung ähnlich einer Jugendherberge. Dafür viel zu teuer!
