Frankendael is located just outside Den Burg. Rural with a beautiful view over the countryside and only a 10-minute walk from the lively center of Den Burg. Here you will find plenty of shops, terraces, cafes and restaurants. Due to its central location on the island, this is a great starting point for your trips on Texel. Within a radius of about 6 kilometers you will find the North Sea beach and the villages of Den Hoorn, De Waal, Oudeschild and De Koog. In the immediate vicinity are several attractions, such as museums and sheep and cheese farms that you can visit. Just outside Den Burg are the Hoge Berg nature reserves and the Waal and Burg bird sanctuary.

Prima maar voor ons erg rustig

Ede, July 2026

Wij hebben een prima week gehad op Texel. Als je van rust houdt en ligging dichtbij den Burg dan is dit een prima accommodatie. De accommodatie op zich is prima, van alle gemakken voorzien. Op de website staat dat den Burg 10 minuten lopen is maar als je naar het centrum wil ga dan uit van 20 tot 25 minuten. Een oplaadpunt voor de auto is ongeveer op 10 minuten afstand lopen. Bed is zacht. Tafel buiten is gebladderd en niet representatief.

Wir hatten auch in diesem Jahr wieder drei schöne Wochen. Die Unterkunft war sauber und es fehlte an nichts. Am Esstisch draußen vor dem Haus sollte die Platte abgeschliffen und gestrichen werden. Wir kommen gerne im nächsten Jahr wieder.

het was in de douch en w.c wel oranje boven,we misten een zeepbakje en een beugel aan de muur. badkamer was er erg glad,toilet was erg laag vooral ouderen een probleem de op stap van tuin naar binnen was erg hoog heb het doorgegeven naar de eigenaar het uitzicht was geweldig .de bedden waren goed
