The nature on Texel is unique. Nowhere else in the Netherlands can you find so many different landscapes on such a limited surface. The area on the west coast has farmlands, forests, moors and dunes. This semi-detached holiday home is surrounded by greenery, on the edge of the seaside resort of De Koog. In the pleasant village center - 1 km from your holiday home - you will find many nice shops, restaurants and bicycle rental companies. In De Koog you will experience the true Texel feeling. The village is separated from the beach by just a row of dunes, so you can walk straight to the beach from the center. If you are on Texel you naturally also want to spot seals. At seal sanctuary Ecomare - 3.5 km from your holiday home - you can see the animals from up close. Swimming paradise Calluna and two riding schools are in the immediate vicinity.
