Location
Huis Goethe is located between the De Nederlanden nature reserve and the Waal and Burg polder, in the center of the island. On the west side of Texel you will find the Duinen van Texel National Park with dunes and forest. Here you can enjoy cycling and walking. The rural location allows you to enjoy an unobstructed view of the countryside. It is a great base for discovering the nature of Texel. The beautiful bike path the Waalenburgerdijkje is near your holiday home and takes you over an old dike, around the Waalenburg polder to the lively village of Den Burg. The seaside resort of De Koog is 3.5 kilometers away. In the pleasant village center you will find great shops and entertainment venues. The wide North Sea beach is 3.5 kilometers away.

There is ample parking space. There is a small meadow with two Ouessant sheep who like to be fed bread by children from time to time. This is a ‘ZoTexels’ accommodation. 'ZoTexels' is a network of private accommodations where guests can savour the authentic flavour and hospitality of Texel.

Bed linen can be rented, the beds will then be made. This holiday home is suitable for a family and a maximum of 5 people. Young people are welcome if the parents are present for the entire period. Dogs (max 2) are allowed but must be flea free and bring their own dog blanket/basket. For safety reasons, we do not allow pit bull and/or stafford-type dogs or crossbreeds in our holiday homes. Cats are not allowed.
