Huis Goethe is located between the De Nederlanden nature reserve and the Waal and Burg polder, in the center of the island. On the west side of Texel you will find the Duinen van Texel National Park with dunes and forest. Here you can enjoy cycling and walking. The rural location allows you to enjoy an unobstructed view of the countryside. It is a great base for discovering the nature of Texel. The beautiful bike path the Waalenburgerdijkje is near your holiday home and takes you over an old dike, around the Waalenburg polder to the lively village of Den Burg. The seaside resort of De Koog is 3.5 kilometers away. In the pleasant village center you will find great shops and entertainment venues. The wide North Sea beach is 3.5 kilometers away.

Important to know

Bed linen can be rented, the beds will then be made. This holiday home is suitable for a family and a maximum of 5 people. Young people are welcome if the parents are present for the entire period. Dogs (max 2) are allowed but must be flea free and bring their own dog blanket/basket. For safety reasons, we do not allow pit bull and/or stafford-type dogs or crossbreeds in our holiday homes. Cats are not allowed.

Wenn das Badezimmer und die Toilette ebenfalls renoviert sind, bleibt kein Wunsch mehr offen!! Bis dahin sollte man ein Verlängerungskabel mitnehmen, da es keine Steckdose im Bad gibt. Und leider auch keine Ablagemöglichkeit. Dass das Bad und das WC getrennt sind, finde ich - gerade bei 4 Personen- sehr gut!! Der Wohn- und Essbereich mit Küche ist wirklich geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem.

Fijn, compleet huisje op rustige plek

Huize Goethe ligt op een heerlijk rustige, maar toch centrale plek op het eiland. Wij verbleven in het onlangs gerenoveerde huisje. Het huisje is leuk en modern ingericht, met alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt en was brandschoon. De tuin kijkt uit op het land en heeft een lekker zitje met veel zon. We hadden helaas veel last van vliegen en insecten, hier is natuurlijk weinig aan te doen. Daarnaast is het bed erg zacht, voor ons niet super maar dat is een persoonlijke kwestie.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
