My name is Jill Mantje, born and raised on the island of Texel. Because I love to enjoy everything Texel has to offer, I think it would be nice to contribute to other people having a wonderful holiday. Enjoying without a care in the world for a while. Tips from the host
Our comfortable studio is located in the beautiful center of Den Burg. The shops and restaurants are within a maximum of 5 minutes walking distance. From the studio you are also within a few minutes on foot or by bike outside the village. Den Burg is very centrally located on the island so from there you can go in all directions by car, bike or on foot. The beautiful nature reserve de Hogeberg is nice for walking. A hilly landscape with the typical Texel narrow paths with Tuunwoalen. Here you will also find many meadows with Texel sheep. A fifteen minute bike ride away you will find the large forest, de Dennen. Texel has a large cycle path network anyway.
