Hotel Greenside is quietly located on the edge of De Koog, just outside the pleasant village center. Only a row of dunes separates the village from the snow-white beach and the North Sea. De Koog is a real seaside resort with many shops, restaurants and terraces. Right next to the village is the De Nederlanden nature reserve with many hiking opportunities. Due to its favorable location on the island, De Koog is an excellent starting point for cycling tours and excursions.

Schön wäre es gewesen, wenn es im Außenbereich geschützte Sitzgelegenheiten gegeben hätte, die zum verweilen, Verzehr und zum Rauchen genutzt hätten werden können. So mussten wir auf umliegende Gastro-Betriebe ausweichen, obwohl wir gerne auch im Hotel geblieben wären.

Tuinkamer werd gerenoveerd, dus we kregen een kamerupgrade. Altijd welkom, kamer was supernetjes en ruim. Ontbijt erg uitgebreid en gevarieerd. Vriendelijke mensen. Kortom zeker voor herhaling vatbaar als we weer een x 1 of 2 nachtjes naar Texel willen.
