This detached holiday home is located in the picturesque former fishing village of Oudeschild. The house is located directly on the harbour and next to the beautiful Wadden Sea. Enjoy the peace and historic atmosphere, while admiring the nearby grain mill. In the immediate vicinity you will find various facilities within walking distance. Just 250 metres away is a cosy bakery with tearoom, where you can enjoy freshly baked delicacies. In addition, there is a fishmonger, a supermarket and the fascinating Kaap Skil museum to discover. At the harbour itself you will find several excellent restaurants, where you can enjoy local dishes. For the adventurous holidaymaker, various boat trips are offered from the harbour, with which you can explore the beauty of the Wadden Sea. Within five minutes by bike you can reach the Zelfpluktuin and the Texelse Bierbrouwerij.

Please bring your own linen for the cot. Young adults are welcome provided their parents are present for the entire stay. The house is not suitable for people with disabilities or walkong frame; the stairs to the upper floor are quite steep. Dogs are not permitted in the bedrooms.

Für ein älteres Paar ist die Treppe ein Herausforderung
Vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung. Vor etwa eineinhalb Jahren wurde das Haus vollständig renoviert, und auch die gesamte Ausstattung ist neu. Schade, dass die Einrichtung nicht ganz Ihrem persönlichen Geschmack entsprochen hat Wir hoffen dennoch, dass Sie sich wohlgefühlt haben. Wir verstehen auch, dass die Treppe für manche Gäste weniger angenehm ist, auch wenn eine stabile Handlauf vorhanden ist. In der Hausbeschreibung weisen wir deshalb darauf hin, dass das Haus nicht für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität geeignet ist.

Tips for your stay
Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
