Herberg De Aanleg is located in the center of De Cocksdorp, Texel's youngest and most northern village. The environment is diverse and attractive. The blond dune area is part of the National Park Dunes of Texel and you can enjoy cycling and walking. The Texel lighthouse is only 3.5 kilometers away and can be reached via a beautiful, partly outside the dyke, route. Behind the lighthouse is an extensive beach and you can see the Wadden Sea on one side and the North Sea on the other. There are shops, terraces and restaurants in De Cocksdorp. In the immediate vicinity are various attractions, such as the Labora Ice Cream Farm, the airport, paracenter and De Texelse golf course.
