Very spacious holiday home (170 m2). Entrance into the hall, spacious living room with sitting area, dining area and flat screen TV (also German channels). The open kitchen is equipped with a combination oven/microwave, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, kettle, juicer and toaster. On the ground floor is a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet and a bedroom with two single beds (90 cm x 210 cm). Separate toilet in the hall. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, each with two single beds (90 cm x 210 cm) and a washbasin. There is a separate sitting area with a French balcony. Second bathroom with walk-in shower and a sink. Separate second toilet. Behind the holiday home is the spacious terrace with garden furniture. The large garden with pond has enough space to sit in the shade or the sun.

De Cocksdorp is located in the north of Texel, not far from the De Slufter nature reserve and the iconic Lighthouse. This very spacious and tastefully furnished holiday home is located in the center of De Cocksdorp, behind an authentic facade from 1905. The cozy village center with restaurants, bakery, supermarket and bicycle rental is within walking distance. From De Cocksdorp there are various options for walking and cycling tours through the dunes and to the De Slufter nature reserve. The wide sandy beach around the lighthouse is less than 10 minutes by bike. Golf course De Texelse (18-hole) is located just outside De Cocksdorp, in the middle of a beautiful, extensive dune area.

The house is absolutely amazing - comfortable, spacious, and clean. We also loved the garden and the seating area on the first floor. We'll be coming back.

Wir hatten schon viele Ferienwohnungen, aber Het Kwade Konijn hat alles übertroffen. Das Haus ist toll gelegen, nicht weit zum Wasser und Restaurants, Bäcker, Supermarkt liegen in fußläufiger Entfernung. Perfekt. Die Qualität der Einrichtung und Ausstattung ist weit über dem Standard. Die tolle Terrasse und der große naturnahe Garten sind ebenfalls sehr beeindruckend.

Ein Traumhaus mit Garten

Das Haus ist wunderschön, hell und geräumig mit einem schönen, schattigen Garten. Alles war sauber, die Betten waren bezogen und es standen sogar Blumen auf dem Tisch. Seife, Spülmaschinentabs, Staubsauger etc. alles vorhanden. Der Vermieter wohnt nebenan und hat uns sofort herzlich begrüßt. Wir konnten vor der Tür parken, obwohl das Haus noch gereinigt wurde und konnten es auch etwas früher beziehen. Bis zum Watt sind es 5 Minuten zu Fuß, bis zum Sandstrand sind es mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto 5 bis 10 Minuten. An der Straße gibt es einen kleinen Wasserspielplatz, Restaurants und einen Plus-Supermarkt.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
