Hoeve Halfweg is located on the road between Den Hoorn and Den Burg, on the west side of Texel. You look at the surrounding farmlands. Guided tours with tastings are available at Kaasboerderij Wezenspyk (Cheese Farm) 800 meters away. This is also where the Skeep and Lantskap hiking trail starts. Various restaurants, shops and supermarkets can be found in Den Hoorn and Den Burg. The North Sea beach is 5 kilometers away. The Duinen van Texel National Park also starts a short distance away, with beautiful cycling and walking routes from the southern tip to the lighthouse.

Wir hatten keinen Kontakt zum Vermieter, war aber auch nicht nötig. Unterkunft liegt sehr einsam, sehr gut um runter zu kommen. Die Treppe zum oberen Stockwerk ist sehr steil.
