Location

This B&B is located on the ground floor of a farmhouse, between the village of Oosterend and the hamlet of Oost. The bell jar was built in the 18th century. The De Bol nature reserve begins behind the farm. The quiet eastern side of Texel is popular with peace seekers and bird watchers. There are beautiful hiking trails in the vicinity and behind the Waddendijk you have a view of the Wadden Sea World Heritage. Binnendijk is the Vogelboulevard, a series of nature reserves where birds rest and forage. The center of Oosterend is within walking distance. You will find some restaurants, butcher and supermarket.

Het was een hele fijne en ruime kamer met een grote badkamer met bad. Een groot bed en voldoende zitplekken. Leuk uitzicht. Mooi huis. Het ontbijt was lekker en ruim voldoende. De gastheer en vrouw waren erg vriendelijk en hadden nog wat leuke tips voor op het eiland. Ik heb er een heerlijk weekend doorgebracht met mijn dochter.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
