Within 5 minutes you can walk into the pleasant village center with plenty of terraces, restaurants and shops. There is a lot of nature in the immediate vicinity. The extensive woodland and dune area is part of the Duinen van Texel National Park. That stretches all along the west coast. You can enjoy cycling and walking. Within 5 to 10 minutes you walk through woods and dunes to the North Sea beach. You will find various attractions in the area, such as museums, riding schools and an indoor swimming paradise.
