This detached holiday home is located in a quiet neighborhood, on the edge of the seaside resort of De Koog. Various restaurants, shops and supermarkets can be found 700 meters away. Two riding schools, a subtropical swimming pool and mini golf are nearby. The North Sea beach with Surfschool Foamball is 1 kilometer away. You can enjoy hiking in the wooded area, which is part of the Duinen van Texel National Park. There are also various cycling routes through the area. The seal sanctuary Ecomare is 2.5 kilometers away.

Het huis ligt op een goede plek, is wat gedateerd, en er waren wat onvolkomenheden.

Vrijdag, de dag van aankomst was fris en de nachten daarna nog frisser, dit was te merken in huis. De meeste dekbedden waren te dun, aangevuld met handdoeken en jassen was de nacht net aan te doen. Paar lampen waren kapot en beide douches functioneerden niet goed, de een veel te koud en de ander te heet, verstelling was niet mogelijk. Beide kranen zijn echt aan vervanging toe. De indeling en plaats van het huis, nabij strand en de Koog is wel goed. De week begon dus niet zo goed omdat de tekortkomingen pas op maandag gemeld konden worden. De lampen werden op woensdag vervangen. Omdat een groot deel van de bezetting er slechts een weekend verbleef, waren er daarna natuurlijk wel genoeg dekbedden, Maar volgens mij kan dit de bedoeling niet zijn, of anders vermeldt het dan specifiek. Ik ben anders gewend op Texel, laten wij het hierbij houden.
