Location

Bungalow park 't Hoogelandt is quietly located on the edge of the Duinen van Texel National Park, on the west side. This nature reserve covers the entire dune area of Texel, including the forest. The bungalow park borders the forest area. Beautiful cycling and hiking trails run through the National Park. Within 5 minutes you are on the bike at the extensive North Sea beach. The seaside resort of De Koog is 3 kilometers away and the largest village of Texel, Den Burg, is about 4.5 kilometers away. Both have a pleasant center with shops, restaurants and terraces. In the immediate vicinity are several attractions, such as the museums Ecomare and Flora.

Saubere Unterkunft mit viel Platz und schnelle Notfallhilfe (Rauchmelderalarm in der Nacht,ließ sich nicht abstellen,gemeldet Sonntag früh gegen 6.00 Uhr, Abhilfe durch einen sehr netten Mitarbeiter gegen 6.30 Uhr - topp!)

Een heerlijk huis!

Fijn huis, alleen jammer dat er achter onze tuin een stuk of 5 honden waren, die telkens als we even buiten kwamen begonnen te blaffen. Ook waren ze avonden lang aan het janken, waardoor ook slapeloze nachten. Bij navraag bleek het om een eigen woning te gaan, waardoor de verhuurder er niets tegen kon doen. Toch jammer van onze vakantie.

Texel is a vibrant island. There's plenty to do year-round: from unique sporting events and culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course, a visit to famous spots like the Slufter nature reserve, the lighthouse, and Ecomare is more than worth it. But there are many more places to discover.
