The 't Kerckeland apartment building, just outside the seaside resort of De Koog, is a great starting point for your trips on Texel. A short distance away is the forest, which is part of the Dunes of Texel National Park. This covers the entire west coast and offers you unprecedented walking and cycling opportunities. Diagonally opposite your apartment is a subtropical swimming paradise. With 5 minutes cycling you are on the extensive North Sea beach. The center of De Koog, with various restaurants, shops and supermarkets, is 1 kilometer away and can also be reached on foot.

Special about this accommodation

There is ample parking space at the apartments. 't Kerckeland also has a launderette that you can use for a fee. You can also order fresh bread rolls in the morning at the reception. You have access to your own bicycle shed in the building and there is also a communal charging center for E-bikes.

Wir haben uns die Woche auf Texel und in der Ferienwohnung

Münster, April 2025

Die Wohnung war ausreichend groß für 2 Erwachsene und 2 jüngere Kinder. Der Balkon war schön und der Weg zum Strand keine 10min mit dem Rad. Bis nach De Koog waren es nur 7min mit dem Fahrrad.

Renovierung wäre von Nöten. Bis auf das Bad nicht besonders sauber, Gläser und Besteck Flohmarktsammlung. Haben uns leider nicht besonders wohlgefühlt.

Tips from the host

Thanks to the central location of our apartment building, you can be in the center of the seaside resort of De Koog, in the woods or on the beach within minutes. The location is very well suited for a nice walk or bike tour around the island and despite its location close to the pleasant village center of De Koog, there is complete tranquility in the apartment or on your spacious balcony.
