The Duinen van Texel National Park starts just a stone's throw away. This nature reserve runs from the southern tip of Texel to the lighthouse. Beautiful cycling and walking routes run through it. The largest village of Texel, Den Burg, is only 4 kilometers away and the seaside resort De Koog 4.7 kilometers.
