't Koppesbossie is situated on the edge of the picturesque, oldest village on Texel. "Tessel's finest," as Oosterend is also known, is an excellent base for nature lovers, cyclists, hikers, and anyone looking to unwind. Along the dike and in the bird-rich nature reserves, you'll find walking and cycling routes. The Wadden Sea (swimming) beach and the harbor of Oudeschild are nearby. Around the old St. Martin's Church (11th century, rebuilt in 1714), you'll find the historic center with its narrow streets, authentic houses, studios, several cozy terraces, a (pancake) restaurant, a (café) diner, and a small supermarket. Its central location makes Oosterend an excellent base for your stay on Texel.

This room is offered without breakfast. The beds are made and towels are ready for you. We change towels when needed, also daily. The Texelhopper bus stop is just around the corner, 50 metres away. Cooking and barbecuing are not allowed, in line with the municipal rules for B&B rentals.

Fantastische week gehad in het Koppesbossie!
Wat een fijne review.... Het is voor ons altijd weer een verrassing of ons Koppesbossie en de omgeving in 'de smaak' valt. Het is een heerlijk rustig dorp met toch ruim voldoende faciliteiten om het heel fijn te hebben. Nog 'authentieke' Tesselse gezelligheid en en warm welkom voor een ieder. Blij dat jullie dat ook zo ervaren hebben en met een goed oog voor natuur & vogels is het echt een prachtige centrale locatie op het eiland. Graag tot ziens....
