This detached holiday home is quietly located just outside De Cocksdorp. In the youngest and most northerly village of Texel, 1.5 kilometers from your holiday home, you will find a bicycle rental, the Vogelinformatiecentrum (Bird Information Center) and a number of extensive specialty shops. You can cycle to the lighthouse within 10 minutes. The dune area around the lighthouse, part of the Duinen van Texel National Park, is challenging and offers shelter to many bird species. There are many beautiful walking routes. There are regular birding excursions. In the immediate vicinity you will find IJsboerderij Labora (ice cream farm) and the 18-hole Golf Course De Texelse. The beach at paal 28 is 2 kilometers away.

Ein sehr schönes Haus, gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, wir fühlten uns von Anfang an herzlich Willkommen. Besonders schön war der große Garten, in dem unser Hund frei rumlaufen konnte. Sehr nett auch die gelegentlichen Besuche von Max, dem Hund unserer Gastgeber. Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen zu dritt dort verbracht und kommen gerne wieder.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
