Landhuys Noorderhaecks, a former farm, is located in the south of Texel close to the ferry harbor. In the immediate vicinity you will find the Prins Hendrik sand dike. A beautiful nature reserve, along which a beautiful cycle path runs towards Oudeschild. There are also walking routes in the area and there are small bird reserves within the dyke. The most southern village, Den Hoorn, is located about 3.5 kilometers away. On the west coast, bordering the North Sea beach, is also the Duinen van Texel National Park, a protected nature reserve with dunes and forests. The largest village of Texel, Den Burg, is about 6 kilometers away. In the center you will find shops, restaurants, cafes and terraces.
