Your holiday home is located on the edge of De Koog, on the west side of Texel. The seaside resort is adjacent to an extensive dune area, forest and farmlands. It is an excellent base for discovering Texel's nature: the De Nederlanden, De Muy and De Slufter nature reserves are in the vicinity. You can enjoy walking and cycling on the wide path from De Nederlanden to De Slufter. Within 5 minutes you cycle to the vast North Sea beach. In the cozy center of De Koog are plenty of shops and restaurants. You can also rent bicycles.

Het huisje was schoon en de bedden waren opgemaakt. Handdoeken moet je zelf meenemen, maar er liggen wel keukenhanddoekjes, theedoeken en vaatdoekje. Er is geen vaatwasser, geen oven, maar wel een magnetron. De verwarming werkte prima (koude avonden eind september, maar het was zó warm). Er is geen eigen tuin met hek eromheen dus een lijn met grondpin voor de hond is dan wel handig. Er is geen WiFi en internet via 5G werkte niet lekker (4G wel). Bos/strand/dorp op loopafstand.

Fijn, compleet huisje

Het huisje ligt afgelegen en dat vonden we fijn. Heerlijk rustig. Geen spectaculair uitzicht maar wel privé. Het huisje was ook tiptop schoon. De inrichting is niet luxe maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Fijn terrasje waar je heerlijk in de zon zit. Een huisje om te onthouden!

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
