Location

Your holiday home is located on the edge of De Koog, on the west side of Texel. The seaside resort is adjacent to an extensive dune area, forest and farmlands. It is an excellent base for discovering Texel's nature: the De Nederlanden, De Muy and De Slufter nature reserves are in the vicinity. You can enjoy walking and cycling on the wide path from De Nederlanden to De Slufter. Within 5 minutes you cycle to the vast North Sea beach. In the cozy center of De Koog are plenty of shops and restaurants. You can also rent bicycles.

Het huisje was heel basic maar bood alles wat we nodig hadden. Wij raden het zeker aan om hier eens naar toe te gaan.

Prima huis, perfecte ligging.

Beilen, September 2025

Hartelijk ontvangen met een fijne koek van bakkerij Timmer. Op 1.5 km van het strand als je door de Koog (1 km) loopt en op 1.4 km naar strandpaviljoen paal 21. Prima lopend te doen. Hond is welkom, alleen heeft deze geen buitenruimte. Op het terras bij huis dient de hond aan de lijn te liggen of binnen te blijven. Serviesgoed en pannen is prima voor elkaar (geen oven). Wat we wel misten was een wasmachine in het huis. Nu kan dit op nabijgelegen vakantiepark of in overleg met de eigenaar.

Toplocatie.

Arnhem, June 2025

Locatie is top. Dit was de 5e x. Huisje is heel eenvoudig en schoon. Wat je nodig hebt is er. Bedden zijn goed. Er is een magnetron Geen wifi. Digitenne valt wel regelmatig weg. Koffiezetapparaat en een senseo. Keukenbenodigdheden is er genoeg. Geen afwasmachine. Gastheer/vrouw zijn heel gastvrij. Als je van veel comfort houdt en je bereidt bent om zo'n €500 a €600 meer te betalen per week, is dit niet het huisje. Wij hebben een geweldige tijd gehad en misschien volgend jaar voor de 6e keer.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
