Within 10 minutes you cycle De lighthouse. The dune area around the lighthouse, part of the Duinen van Texel National Park, is challenging and offers shelter to many bird species. There are many beautiful walking routes. There are regular birding excursions. In the immediate vicinity you will find ice cream farm Labora and the 18-hole Golf Course de Texelse.
