This detached holiday home is quietly located behind the house of the owner, on the edge of the lively Den Burg. The village is the 'capital' of Texel: about half of Texel residents live there. From your holiday home you can walk to the lively center with nice shops, good restaurants and supermarkets within 10 minutes. Every Monday morning you can visit the weekly market at the Groeneplaats in the center. The public swimming pool Molenkoog is on the other side of the village. A bike path is just a few meters from your holiday home, allowing you to go all the way to discover the island. To the north of Den Burg you will find the polder Waalenburg. Through this area with old creeks and flowery grasslands a beautiful walking route runs. The wide and extensive North Sea beach is 5.5 kilometers from your holiday home.
