Location

Bed and breakfast Opperdan is located on the edge of Den Burg. You stay in one of the three double rooms on the ground floor. Den Burg is the largest village on Texel and has by far the most facilities. Within 5 minutes you walk into the cozy village center with a mix of well-known retail chains, special shops, many restaurants, a cinema and terraces. The fantastic North Sea beach is 7 kilometers away. In the immediate vicinity are beautiful cycling routes through the countryside and towards the forest and dunes on the west side of the island. Part of the Duinen van Texel National Park, with beautiful, accessible nature reserves.

De locatie van dit B&B is uitstekend als je in den Burg moet zijn. Bushalte en centrum zijn allemaal makkelijk bereikbaar te voet, maar de ligging is rustig. De kamer was van alles voorzien, modern ingericht en schoon. In de zomer is het zeker ook fijn om op het terras te zitten. Ik was vooral blij met de comfortabele stoelen/fauteuils om ook overdag lekker in weg te zakken. Persoonlijk vond ik het bed een beetje aan de harde kant, maar dat is een kwestie van voorkeur.

Mooi schoon, goede inrichting met een groot bed, vloerverwarming. De mevrouw die het beheer waarnam was erg behulpzaam.

Heerlijk rustige locatie en toch overal dichtbij.

Een prima locatie om van daaruit erop uit te trekken, niet zozeer om te verblijven, daarvoor is het te klein. Er is een buitenruimte waar je van gebruik kunt maken, maar dat liet het weer niet toe.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
