Attractive holiday home just outside De Koog
Paal 234 is an authentic cottage from 1926. On the ground floor is the living room with sitting area, fireplace and TV. with open kitchen and a toilet with extra shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. You have a Quooker, spacious refrigerator with freezer, hot air oven with microwave function, a Nespresso with milk frother and a filter coffee machine, dishwasher and of course all the necessities for cooking. There is a toilet with extra shower. The upper floor consists of the master bedroom with charming bath. The second bedroom has 2 single beds (can be placed together) and a sofa bed for a possible 3rd person (child). Bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Outside you will find a lovely terrace with patio table and chairs and two comfortable loungers. You have a covered veranda with outdoor kitchen and a cozy sitting area. Due to the location of the house you have sun all day, in the morning outside on the terrace and in the evening in the front garden on a bench until the sun sets.

Holiday home Paal 234 is located on the main road just outside the seaside resort of De Koog. Due to its central location, this is a great starting point for your trips on Texel. From the holiday home it is 5 to 10 minutes by bike through woods and dunes to the North Sea beach. You can walk to the pleasant center of De Koog in 10 minutes. Here you will find many nice shops and cozy terraces and restaurants. The National Park Dunes of Texel starts a stone's throw from the holiday home. An extensive network of cycle routes starts from the road. There are various attractions in the immediate vicinity of the holiday home, such as riding schools, museums and an indoor swimming paradise.

Special about this accommodation
You will enjoy the authentic character of the house, which has been completely adapted to all modern comfort needs. All beds in the house are comfortable box spring beds with duvets. Beds are made upon arrival, and sets of towels and a bath set are also provided. You have your own washing/drying machine. The entire ground floor has underfloor heating.

Hello, we are Patrick, Monique and Sarah. A big fan of Texel for years. We have lovingly renovated this old Texel house and adapted it to the conveniences and luxury of our time. It is our favorite place to relax, get a breath of fresh air, walk your dog and get away from it all. Close to home, yet away from it all. We would like to share this nice place with you.
Tips from the host
Doing nothing is wonderful, but boredom is not necessary. The forest, the dunes and the beach, Caluna children's swimming paradise, Ecomare, Shipwreck and Juttersmuseum Flora are all a stone's throw away. You can go horseback riding at one of the riding schools in the area (also for beginners) or walk to De Koog, with its numerous cozy terraces and restaurants. The North Sea beach is 'around the corner'. In less than 10 minutes you can cycle to Bries 20 or one of the other nice beach bars where you can also eat a tasty snack and enjoy the sunset.
