Quietly located B&B in the old rectory next to the church of De Waal
Here you rent a spacious room on the first floor of the rectory. You also have a private terrace with seating and parasol on the south side of the rectory. From the room you have a beautiful view over the wild garden and the meadows towards Hoge Berg. In the room is an excellent COCO-MAT double bed of 210 x 180. On the floor you have a bathroom with a rain shower and sink and a separate toilet. For a child up to 12 years old, a cozy box bed is available in the room, for a baby there is an extra cot. This box bed is equipped with a COCO-MAT mattress of 170 x 105 cm. Normal bicycles are available. Parking spaces on the yard.

De Waal is the smallest village on Texel and is centrally located on the island, just above Den Burg. The village has the atmosphere of the past. Authentic houses are interspersed with nice farms. This bedroom with its own facilities is located on the first floor of the back house of the old rectory next to the church. The building dates from 1680, the back house in its current state from 1911. Wonderful to explore the village on foot or by bike and also to visit the Waelstee Museum in the village. The beaches on the North Sea coast and the dike on the Wadden Sea can be reached by bike in 20 minutes. By bike you are in 10 minutes in the center of Den Burg with many cozy restaurants and shops.

There is parking on site. The owner provides two bicycles free of charge during your stay. Breakfast is served in the dining room. The extensive breakfast is included in the price. In addition to 'viennoiserie', homemade organic sourdough bread and homemade jam and Texel products are also served. Breakfast can be adapted to all diets and allergies. You will sleep on a COCO-MAT bed here. This bed is handmade from natural materials and designed for a wonderful night's sleep. The box bed also has a COCO-MAT mattress.
