Bungalow park Prins Hendrik is located on the Wadden side of the holiday island of Texel, directly on the Waddendijk. A unique place with plenty of peace and space, fifteen minutes by bike from the picturesque village Oosterend. This spaciously designed park has over 40 detached holiday homes. The houses are beautifully situated in the green, each with its own garden. In the immediate vicinity you can enjoy cycling, hiking, bird watching and a beautiful view of the Wadden Sea. At night you will be impressed by the hundreds of stars in the sky.

Leuk voor een keer met min- en pluspunten.

Gelet op het gebodene toch best wel prijzig. Zo'n € 800 voor een midweek (en nog buiten het hoogseizoen->laatste week juni). Schoonmaakkosten € 85 veel te hoog gelet op de vele aangetroffen spinnenwebben in het huisje en vuilnis inde afvalbak in de woonkamer. Horren voor openslaande deuren perfect. Ruime (slaap-)kamers behalve de beneden slaapkamer (en-suite was dan wel weer fijn). Een mooie rustige locatie dicht bij de waddenzee. Bewegwijzering/eenrichtingsverkeer beter zichtbaar maken (paaltjes met blauwe pijlen te laag en laat zichtbaar). Zonder aanwezigheid van airco/rolluiken/ventilatoren veel te heet tijdens de midweek met zomerwarmte. Slaapkamer boven de beneden slaapkamer was erg gehorig.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
