Location

The seven villages of Texel are each surrounded by a lot of nature. De Cocksdorp - the youngest village on Texel - is located on the Waddendijk. In the cozy village center you will find a number of extensive specialty shops, a bicycle rental and the bird information center. Your detached holiday home is quietly situated on the outskirts of the village and offers a view over nature reserve De Roggesloot. The lighthouse is 3.5 kilometers away. The beach around the lighthouse is impressively wide and offers a view of the Wadden Sea and the North Sea. There are regular seals on the waterfront. If you want to be certain that you see seals during your vacation on Texel, then a robber trip with the passenger ship of Rederij De Vriendschap - at 3 kilometers from your bungalow - is recommended.

Very nice and calm house

Great location in the village of De Cocksdorp, good bakery and supermarket within easy waking distance and also bike renting and bird watching (Vogel Centrum) very close. The house is at the back of the garden of the owners, with tables and chairs outside, a place to store your bicycles, very quiet. 2 rooms with 2 single beds in each room, nice living room and kitchen with everything needed to cook. Nice welcome by our hosts: thank you for everything!

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
