This detached 4-person bungalow is quietly located in the small-scale bungalow park Slufteroord, in the northern part of Texel. Nature on this part of the island is enormously varied with of course one of the highlights within walking distance: nature reserve De Slufter. De Slufter is the only area in the Netherlands where the sea can flow in unimpeded. De Muy nature reserve is adjacent. The dune areas offer shelter to many bird species. There are regular birding excursions. You can also enjoy cycling and walking. De Cocksdorp is the youngest village on Texel and is 6 kilometers from the park. In the cozy village center you will find several restaurants, a supermarket and the bird information center. Action enthusiasts can take a scenic flight over the island at Paracentrum Texel.

Een mooie uitvalsbasis voor lange (avond)wandelingen door De Slufter. Het is een oud park, dus veel ruimte rond het huisje en veel privacy door de hoge begroeiing. De bank in de woonkamer en het tuinmeubilair hebben hun beste tijd gehad. De slaapkamers zijn oké. De douche is ruim. De keuken is goed op orde en alles wat je nodig hebt om lekker te koken is voorhanden. Dus een prima lokatie als je niet van design maar van retro houdt. Hopen wel dat de aardige gastheer tijd voor onderhoud vindt…

Küche gut ausgestattet, große Grünfläche ums Haus und Parkplatz fürs Auto direkt vor der Tür! Ebenso der Radweg! Was will man mehr?

Het huisje is zeer verouderd maar staat wel op een prachtige plek.

De ontvangst was hartelijk. De locatie was prachtig. Het huisje ligt pal achter de duinen. Alleen het fietspad en het parkweggetje oversteken en je staat al in het natuurgebied De Slufter waar je prachtig kunt wandelen en vogels spotten. Alles was schoon. Maar de inrichting was zo verouderd dat het zeer muf rook in met name de slaapkamers. De meubels zijn zeer aan vervanging toe. Om die reden zou ik zelf deze accommodatie niet meer boeken. Maar voor degene die met name een rustige locatie willen op een mooie plek dan is dit huisje prima. Daar komt bij dat het een pluspunt is dat er een afwasmachine, wasmachine en droger in het huisje staan.
