This detached 4-person bungalow is quietly located in the small-scale bungalow park Slufteroord, in the northern part of Texel. Nature on this part of the island is enormously varied with of course one of the highlights within walking distance: nature reserve De Slufter. De Slufter is the only area in the Netherlands where the sea can flow in unimpeded. De Muy nature reserve is adjacent. The dune areas offer shelter to many bird species. There are regular birding excursions. You can also enjoy cycling and walking. De Cocksdorp is the youngest village on Texel and is 6 kilometers from the park. In the cozy village center you will find several restaurants, a supermarket and the bird information center. Action enthusiasts can take a scenic flight over the island at Paracentrum Texel.

Die Lage war super. Die Reinigung der Toilette und der Küche, besonders Spülmaschine, war nicht in Ordnung. Zimmer und Betten waren ok. Leider kein richtiges Badezimmer vorhanden . Dusche ok, aber waschgelegenheit war auf dem Zimmer.

Een mooie uitvalsbasis voor lange (avond)wandelingen door De Slufter. Het is een oud park, dus veel ruimte rond het huisje en veel privacy door de hoge begroeiing. De bank in de woonkamer en het tuinmeubilair hebben hun beste tijd gehad. De slaapkamers zijn oké. De douche is ruim. De keuken is goed op orde en alles wat je nodig hebt om lekker te koken is voorhanden. Dus een prima lokatie als je niet van design maar van retro houdt. Hopen wel dat de aardige gastheer tijd voor onderhoud vindt…
