The B&B de Slufterhoeve will be open in the summer of 2022. Nice fresh, quietly furnished rooms that bring warmth and comfort with them. Start the day with the cheerful song of birds and the first rays of the sun over the fields of the polder and the Slufterduin. A perfect base to discover the island after a good local breakfast. Enjoy the island life pur sang. Fancy a night out? As a guest of the B&B you are very welcome in the adjacent Boutique Hotel with restaurant and spa.

Location

B&B Slufterhoeve is located in a rural area in the northwest of the holiday island of Texel. On this side of the island you will find the unique nature reserve De Slufter. This large salt marsh area has an open connection with the North Sea. At high water, the creeks in the area overflow and De Slufter fills up. Adjacent is the De Muy nature reserve. Several hiking trails run through these areas, providing hours of fun. By following the cycle path along the Zanddijk and through the Eierlandse Duinen nature reserve, you will arrive at the icon of Texel: the lighthouse. The beach around the lighthouse is impressively wide and offers a great view of the Wadden and North Sea. The pleasant village of De Cocksdorp is 5 kilometers away.

Tolles Zimmer mit super Frühstück

Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich. Die Zimmer werden im Gebäude des Hofes vermietet, in der die Familie auch wohnt, samt Hund und Katzen. Das Frühstück war unglaublich! Jeden Tag frische Zutaten wie Saft, Joghurt, Eier. Das Zimmer war zwar recht klein, aber sehr kuschelig, sauber, sehr bequemes Bett, mit Terrasse. Die Nähe zum Slufter (fussläufig) war sehr gut, man kommt aber auch zu allen anderen Orten sehr schnell. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden es unbedingt weiterempfehlen.

Introduce

At the beginning of 2020 we moved into Slufterhoeve farm. A wonderfully free place in the middle of the lands of Texel at the bottom of the Slufterduin. We believe it is a place that should be shared. That is why we started with a small-scale camping and B&B. Where Pieter runs the farm, Marjet & (daughter) Lisa take care of guests at the campsite and at the B&B. We mainly grow seed potatoes, wheat, barley, sugar beet and onions. Our wheat is all over the island. After the harvest, it is ground in the tear rower, a historic grain mill in Oudeschild. Then it goes to the local bakery Timmer, where it is processed into fresh bread that is sold all over Texel. And of course to taste during your stay in our B&B or at the campsite. We hope to welcome you soon!
