't Waalderhofje is located in the center of Den Burg, the largest village on Texel. You can walk into the cozy center with beautiful streets, an extensive range of shops and restaurants. The North Sea beach is about 6 kilometers away. In the vicinity of Den Burg you will find the Hoge Berg area, with the characteristic tuunwallen (traditional partitions between plots) and schapenboeten (sheep barns). Here you can enjoy cycling and walking. The central location of Den Burg makes this a great starting point for your explorations of the island.

Alles was netjes en schoon Handdoeken in overvloed Ontbijt perfect het was genoeg Ligging in het dorp is perfect Gastvrouw is top Als ik ooit weer op Texel kom ga ik daar een B&B boeken

Onverwacht mochten we in het huisje.

Het was heerlijk! Onverwacht was er plek in het huisje, ruim, schoon, alles prima op orde. En José, superaardige gastvrouw!

Weekendje weg voor mijn verjaardag

Utrecht, September 2025

We werden warm onthaald, en Jose was ontzettend flexibel, wat o zo fijn is met onze kleuter en baby! We zitten met kleine kinderen die 's nachts onrustig kunnen zijn, we komen met stinkende luiers langs, en met modderige laarsjes... alles mocht en kon gewoon, erg fijn. Ook uitchecken was flexibel, wij waren nog even langer bezig de kinderwagen in te laden. Hartelijk dank voor een gastvrij verblijf!
