Stolp farm De Gouden Reaal is located in picturesque Den Hoorn, on the southern part of Texel. Within a few minutes you can walk to the village square with a supermarket and some restaurants in the immediate vicinity. There is also a bicycle rental in the village. Within 10 minutes you are on the bike at the North Sea beach. There are several galleries in the village. Den Hoorn borders in the west on the National Park Dunes of Texel. Beautiful cycling and walking routes run through this protected nature reserve, which extends from the southern tip to the lighthouse. Also nearby is De Geul nature reserve with a large spoonbill colony. The largest village of Texel, Den Burg, is 5 kilometers away.

Die Lage ist ruhig, sehr grün und idyllisch. Als Nachbarn gab es für die Kinder Schafe und Pferde zu sehen. Das Haus im Haus war sehr gut eingerichtet und es gab alles was wir brauchten. Der Wohnbereich ist mit 2 kleinen Kindern und Hund bei schlechtem Wetter etwas eng. Bei gutem Wetter gibt es genügend Platz im großen Garten mit Spielplatz.
