Location

Detached holiday home de Mossel is a modern house built in a traditional Texel design. It is quietly situated in the hamlet of Oost, east of the picturesque Oosterend, and offers unobstructed views over the fields and the Wadden Sea dike. The Wadden Sea World Heritage Site is less than 500 metres from your holiday home and the historic polder mill Het Noorden is also nearby. Along the Wadden Sea dike are special nature reserves that form an important breeding and foraging area for countless birds. The cycle path over the dike takes you past the Utopia, Wagejot and Ottersaat nature reserves. On the way to the fishing village of Oudeschild you will pass the IJzeren Kaap and a small Wadden beach.

sehr schöne Unterkunft, tolle Lage

Das Haus war geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Die Begrüßung mit Wein und Käse von Texel war sehr nett. Wir buchen gerne wieder.

Das Haus ist in Ordnung

Die Unterkunft hätte sauberer sein können. In Echt ist die Treppe wesentlich steiler wie auf den Bildern abgebildet. Als deutsches Fernsehen ist nur ARD, ZDF, WDR und NDR vorhanden. Das Gästewc ist sehr klein und verfügt nur über kaltes Wasser.

Een heerlijk, compleet ingericht, knus huis waar het heerlijk verblijven is. Wakker worden met het geluid van vogels, daarna ontbijten in de zon met uitzicht op weilanden en de Waddendijk. Hier wordt je werkelijk 1 met de natuur. Absolute aanrader!

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
