The small-scale bungalow park Oud-Vredelust is located on the edge of the forest and the dunes of National Park Duinen van Texel. The extensive North Sea beach is approximately 2.5 kilometers away and can be reached by bike or on foot. Beautiful cycling and walking routes run through the nature reserve, which covers the entire west coast of Texel. In the immediate vicinity you will find a bicycle rental, restaurant and various museums. Close by is a bus stop. The seaside resort of De Koog is about 3.5 kilometers away. The 'capital' of Texel, Den Burg, is more than 4 kilometers away. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and terraces in both villages.

Huis staat op een mooie locatie achteraan op het park.

Prima huis, maar voor de prijs hadden we er meer van verwacht en gehoopt. Het was erg warm doordat er geen goede zonwering of airco in het huis aanwezig was. Ook was het fijn geweest als de tuin afgeschermd was voor de hond. Met een beetje liefde voor het huis van de eigenaar, zou het voor de gasten aangenamer verblijven zijn. Verder een goede service van Texel Duinen gekregen mbt een defecte droger en lekkende kraan.

Geweldig ontworpen huis en een hele fijne inrichting.

De keuken is voor ons altijd cruciaal en deze keuken was heel fijn. Er was zelfs een goede theepot. De douche is even wennen door het douchegordijn, maar er valt door alle andere plussen goed mee te leven.
