This detached holiday home is quietly located on the yard of farm De Oorsprong, in the middle of Polder Eierland in the northern part of Texel. De Oorsprong lies between farmlands with cows and sheep. A holiday on this part of the island means getting some fresh air and spotting birds. The Waddendijk (wadden dike) is 2 kilometers from your holiday home. Along the dike there are various special nature reserves that form an important breeding and foraging place for countless birds. De Cocksdorp is 5 kilometers away. In the cozy village center you will find the Vogelinformatiecentrum (bird information center), a few shops and various restaurants. Nature reserve De Slufter is located in the vicinity.

Het huisje is oud maar alles was schoon. Vriendelijk ontvangen. Omdat het op een boerenerf staat wel veel last van muggen

Prima lokatie voor een weekje fietsvakantie.

De kamers en het sanitair waren goed schoon. De inrichting van het huisje is simpel maar comfortabel. Vanuit de kamer is het uitzicht op de stal en schuren.

Leuke boerenbedrijf. Hele aardige man die het verhuurt. Huisje is leuk en schoon. Staan leuke dieren. Mijn kinderen en ik vonden het voor herhaling vatbaar.
