The youngest village of the island is located in the most northern part of the holiday island of Texel: De Cocksdorp. This detached holiday home is located behind the owner's house, on the edge of the pleasant village that borders the forest area 'Het Krimbos'. Many walking and cycling routes run through this green area, making the Pier 53 holiday home a great base for exploring the island. Within walking distance of this holiday home you can do fun shopping at Graaf Interieur and eat artisan ice cream at Ice Farm Labora. If you get on your bike, you are within 15 minutes at the symbol of Texel: the lighthouse.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
