Your detached holiday home is in a rural location, on the edge of the polder and nature reserve Waalenburg. This is central to the island. Cycling and walking paths run through the old polder. The beautiful bike path the Waalenburgerdijkje starts a few hundred meters from your holiday home. This cycle path takes you from De Koog, over an old dike around the polder, to Den Burg. The pleasant village center of the seaside resort of De Koog is 3 kilometers away. Here you will find nice shops, restaurants, bicycle rental and supermarkets. The wide North Sea beach is a 10-minute bike ride away. Nature reserves De Nederlanden and De Muy are in the vicinity.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
