600 years of Hoornder church: concert
Friday, August 22, 2025 To commemorate the 600th anniversary of the Den Hoorn village church, Arie Lap will perform there on Sunday afternoon. Arie Lap explains what he will offer the audience: "We'll embark on a musical journey, with solo vocals and harmonica. We'll also be performing homemade songs from the natural environment, including, of course, the Hoornder church." Location: Hoornderkerk, Kerkstaraat Start: 3:00 PM The concerts are free to attend. A voluntary contribution makes these concerts possible.

Hoornder kerkje
The most engraved church on the island is undisputed: the Hoornder church. Unlike other churches, this church is located just outside the village, with a beautiful Texel landscape surrounding it.
