Sunday 15 June 2025 A series of concerts will be given as part of the celebration of 600 years of Hoornder church. On Sunday 15 June, the Prisma String Trio will give a concert "Through the ages" in which music will be performed by Dutch composers from the 15th and 16th centuries (including Ockeghem, Lassus and Jacob Obrecht) as well as from the centuries that followed (Mozart, Schubert, Liszt, Jean Cras). The Prisma String Trio consists of Janneke van Prooijen (violin), Elisabeth Smalt (viola) and Michiel Weidner (cello). Firmly anchored in the classical string tradition, the trio performs music from all over the world and from all times, known and unknown. Their performance is not only style-conscious, but can also be characterised as virtuoso and passionate. In short, well worth attending! Concert starts at 3:00 PM. Admission fee: €19, payable at the church entrance or in advance using the QR code on the poster.
