Saturday, May 30, 2026 A tribute by pianist Bernd van den Bos to Freddie Mercury: one of the greatest and most versatile pop icons ever. In this theater concert, Bernd brings the music of Queen and Freddie back to life, simply on the piano. Known as pianist and bandleader for Brigitte Kaandorp, Simone Kleinsma, and André van Duin, among others, Bernd plays a series of instantly recognizable world hits. Think of "Love Of My Life," "We Are The Champions," "Somebody To Love," and of course, "Bohemian Rhapsody." Sometimes exactly as you know them, and sometimes with a surprisingly classical twist – fitting for Freddie and Bernd's shared love of classical music. In between, Bernd takes you on a journey through his own musical story, with Freddie Mercury as the central theme. You'll not only hear familiar songs but also discover new stories and tidbits about Freddie that you probably didn't know. In short: a unique evening full of music, stories, and surprises – for everyone who loves Queen. Reviews: Bernd plays Freddie Mercury ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “A virtuoso fusion” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Bernd merges icons” A performance you don't just hear, but truly experience. Tickets: €21.50
